Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Application Form

Want to make a difference?

By creating volunteer opportunities, US Eagle opens the door for you to realize your potential to make a difference in our communities. You’ll learn, grow, create relationships and, for all of us, it’s an opportunity to be a part of something larger than oneself.

And our volunteer opportunities aren’t limited to US Eagle committees and boards. Several times each year, we ‘make it better’ for everyone in our communities by volunteering at and for food banks, animal shelter drives, environmental sustainability and so much more. It turns out, the best place to make a difference for non-profits in our communities is at your not-for-profit credit union.

We welcome anyone who has an interest in helping their community and their credit union. We seek volunteers to serve on the following committees:

ALCO Committee
:
Coordinate and help manage assets and liabilities in fostering fiscal stability for US Eagle.

CECL Committee:
Help guide the institution through the process of transition to using Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL) accounting standards.

Election Committee:
Members are usually appointed and consist of an election administrator as well as other officers who help supervise election along the way.

Finance Committee:
Help provide financial oversight for the organization, including budgeting and financial planning, financial reporting, and monitoring.

Governance Committee:
It’s your credit union, be responsible for how the Board governs. Make recommendations to the Board about director candidates and recruiting board directors.

Junior Board of Directors:
The Junior Board of Directors (JBOD) is a group of local youth ages 16 – 22 interested in leadership, community outreach, and financial literacy. To be a leader of tomorrow, click here to start.

Merger and Acquisition Committee:
Appointed by the Board to review and assess potential mergers and acquisitions consistent with our strategic plan.

Policy/Bylaws Committee:
Help set the rules by the laws of the state and policies of the company.

Succession Committee:
Help us determine who US Eagle’s leaders of tomorrow will be.

Supervisory Committee:

Help ensure the safety and soundness of US Eagle through your insight and advice. The Supervisory Committee term is for one year and meetings are held once a month.

Volunteer Development Committee:

Meet once a month with other US Eagle members to discuss ways for us to enrich our communities. The Volunteer Development Committee term is for one year.
