Shred Day 2021 – Celebrating International Credit Union Month
US Eagle celebrates International Credit Union Month in October. To engage all our communities, we’re hosting Shred Days at several of our branches. This free event is a great way to shred tax documents, bank statements, documents with private information, and documents you're not sure what to do with but need to get rid of in a secure fashion. Shred Days are open to the public (members and those who should be) and anyone may bring up to three bankers’ boxes of paper for shredding.
When you come to one of our Shred Days, you can also help our communities through donations of food and funds toward Collective Spark, a combined effort with Rio Grande Food Project and the Supportive Housing Coalition to raise $86,000 to help families in need of housing and mortgage assistance. Shredding your documents can also help keep our environment clean and you receive a reusable US Eagle tote or Shred Day bag.
COVID-safe protocols will be observed during this event with a drive-through process set up to minimize contact.
