enrichEd® Classroom Grant Program

Helping Students Build Financial Skills for Life

Every student deserves the opportunity to develop the skills and confidence they need for a successful future. The enrichEd® Classroom Grant Program helps educators bring financial literacy and financial wellness lessons to life through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. This year, ARNIA Foundation will award $20,000 in grants ranging from $500 to $2,500 to support creative classroom projects that help students better understand money, budgeting, saving, career exploration, and more.

Turn Financial Lessons into Real-Life Learning

Financial literacy is more than understanding dollars and cents. It's learning how to make informed decisions, set goals, manage challenges, and prepare for the future.

Whether you're introducing a financial literacy curriculum, teaching students how to create a budget, exploring savings and unexpected expenses, helping students understand careers and earning potential, or developing another innovative approach to financial wellness, we want to hear your ideas.

What Can Grant Funding Be Used For?

Grant funds may be used to support projects that focus on:

  • Financial literacy and financial wellness
  • Budgeting and savings education
  • Managing unexpected expenses
  • Career exploration and workforce readiness
  • Understanding income and living expenses
  • Entrepreneurial or project-based learning opportunities
  • Sustainable classroom activities that engage students in real-world financial concepts

Have a unique idea? We encourage creative approaches that help students gain practical financial knowledge and skills. 

Applicants must:

  • Be a full-time educator or administrator
  • Work at a public or charter school
  • Be located in one of the following counties: 
    • Bernalillo
    • San Juan
    • Sandoval
    • Santa Fe
    • Valencia
  • Receive school administration approval
  • Submit a completed application, project description, and brief budget

Incomplete applications will not be considered. 

Applications are reviewed by the ARNIA Foundation Philanthropic Committee.

Funding decisions are based on:

  • Project need
  • Number of students served
  • Potential impact
  • Geographic diversity
  • Available funding

Our goal is to support innovative programs that help students develop lifelong financial skills.
